Understanding Movement Mechanics (Can-Fit-Pro)

Strength training is one of the primary components of a balanced training program. Exercises performed safely and effectively can improve strength and size of your muscles. This workshop is designed to explain how your bones and muscles work together, how muscles respond to strength training and how understanding movement mechanics can explain proper techniques and form for popular strength exercises.

Movement mechanics deals with anatomy, physics and physiology and this workshop aims to cover some of the fundamentals in order to help you learn why strength training with good technique and form works. This workbook will serve as a great resource to help you analyze most strength exercises. Be sure to keep it in a handy spot.

The key to understanding mechanics is to continuously apply the theory to the practical applications as you learn. Learn the theory, learn the practical applications and finally practice the movements. As you work your way through the workshop ask questions. Your FIT Trainer is there to answer and explain.
